35th Annual Queen Wilhelmina Rod Run August 27th, 28th & 29th, 2010 Location of Rod Run: Queen Wilhelmina State Park Registration will take place during the following dates and times: Street & Performance 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Friday, August 27th KCS Depot 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, August 27th Queen Wilhelmina St. Park 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday, August 28th THERE WILL BE NO PRE-REGISTRATION ON THURSDAY AT STREET & PERFORMANCE PRIOR TO ROD RUN! LOCATION: Queen Wilhelmina State Park Places to stay while at the Rod Run T-shirts will be on sale at all area locations during rod run events! Wilhelmina Rod Run T-Shirts: $13.00 Each or (2) for $25.00 for Adults - $10.00 for Children Street & Performance T-Shirts: $13.00 Each or (2) for $25.00 for Adults - $10.00 for Children PLACES TO GO AND THINGS TO SEE WHILE IN MENA * Stop by the restored KCS Depot for local tourist information * Tour Street & Performance, Inc. * Browse downtown antique shops in Mena * Tour Brodix * Cruise up the mountain and enjoy the scenic views * Queen Wilhelmina State Park & Lodge EVENT SCHEDULE Thursday, August 26th 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm * Cookout at Street & Performance (BYOB and lawn chairs) * All Street & Performance employees and their families, and any street rodders who have arrived early are invited to attend the cookout * Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served; music provided by “Weird Harold & The Rubber Band” sponsored by The Mena Bunch and Street & Performance Friday, August 27th 10:00 am - 4:00 pm * Registration at Street & Performance 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm * CRUISE-IN @ KCS DEPOT * Registration and T-Shirt sales will be located at KCS Depot from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. * (Reserved Parking) for Street Rodders ONLY * KCS Depot and local merchants will have their stores open during evening hours for shopping. * Concessions will be provided by local food vendors located @ KCS Depot (hot dogs, nachos, cold drinks, popcorn, etc.) * 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm - “DJ” Harold Riley will be entertaining the crowd with music Saturday, August 28th 9:00 am - 1:00 pm * Registration will be located at the Queen Wilhelmina State Park 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm * ALL Adult & Kids Games will be held at this time 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm * Fish Fry Dinner ***Meal tickets are in your goody bag*** 5:00 pm * NOTICE: ALL BALLOTS MUST BE TURNED IN AT THIS TIME! 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm * Street Dance on South Mena Street 8:30 pm * “Special” Awards will be presented at this time Sunday, August 29th 10:00 am * Show and Shine 10:00 am *Church Service @ the Queen Wilhelmina State Park Wonder House 11:00 am * Door Prizes and Awards Ceremony. |
